Making a referral
The easiest way to get help from our service is to make a referral online. This will open a secure web page where you can enter your details. One of our teams will then aim to contact you within two weeks.
Enfield and Haringey
For those registered with an Enfield or Haringey GP
For those registered with a Barnet GP
We also have a referral form that can be completed and sent to us via post, email or fax. If someone does not have access to this we are happy to go through the form with them on the telephone.
Who we work with
Our service works with patients over 16 years of age who are registered with GPs in Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. The service is designed to work with mild to moderate common mental illnesses, including depression and anxiety disorders. However, people with significant issues of risk to self or others would be stepped up to the appropriate specialist mental health team.
We are not able to work with people with major drug or alcohol problems, acute psychotic symptoms, or those at risk of acting on suicidal thoughts.
Who can refer?
Anyone, and we actively encourage self referrals. Referrals can be made by professionals, carers or patients. All we ask is that the patient is always aware of and in agreement with the referral.
Please note: we do not have psychiatrists working in our team and therefore we do not provide a formal psychiatric diagnosis.
